Job Duties: Provide subject-matter expertise in the area of bio-informatics for the design and development of databases and applications to be used in biological experiments and scientific research by the biotechnology, bioinformation, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and education industries; work closely with clients to define research objectives; write computer programs to develop applications for data gathering, data management, data analysis, sequence analysis, and statistical analysis; validate gene expression; perform computational genomic analysis using bioinformatics tools; interpret data analysis; and develop reports of findings to be used for research and development.
